We spent 5 weeks in the wide open spaces of Idaho. We stayed at Justin's parent's house the whole time and we did nothing but relax and have fun. Jack helped Denise plant her garden.
We went to see Whitney teach her clogging class at BYU-I.
We roasted a TON of s'mores over the 5 weeks. Bob and Denise have a gas fire pit in their back yard and we took full advantage of it. We were also lucky enough to spend time with Whitney's other half, Kevin. They will be getting married in August and we are excited for him to join the Brownell craziness!
We were able to get together with Jessica and Ashley and their families. We used to work together and it was fun to see how we have changed since the days of Reflection's.
Jack and Anderson were loving on Grandpa Bob. :)
We ran the Teton Dam 10k in Rexburg. I was anxious to get running again and see if I could beat my last 10k. During the race, I thought there was no way I was going to beat it as we were running straight up hill for what seemed like eternity. But in the end I was surprised and Justin and I crossed the finish line at 54 minutes. 4 minutes faster than my last race!
Jack and Connor were so glad to have each other to play with. Ryan and Steph came up to Idaho while we were there and we were so happy they did! Jack and Connor wore their Batman capes all day and would run outside to "save the world!" I love when my kids get to play with their cousins.
We had a big birthday party for all the summer birthdays. Their total age combined was 212.
Jack, Carson, Jaxson, McKenna, Justin, Stephanie, Adam, and Grandpa Diamond.
We also spent time with the Heaton cousins. A lot of them we haven't seen in years, so it was good to get together and have some good laughs. Never a dull moment with these guys!
And we were so glad that Jonathan and Daija were in Pocatello already! They moved there from Boston for a residency.
Little Miss Sadie was cute as ever!
We went to the zoo.
We spent lot's of time on the Slip n' Slide! The boys were loving this. Jack went up and down it about 200 times.
Connor preferred to walk down it....or crawl. :)
Slippery!
Anderson just liked to watch and touch the water.
And we also got to see Brittany, and baby Janie, And Hollie and Adam and their cutie pie Henry! Henry is still dominating over Janie. They were SO cute!
We LOVED seeing some Cleveland faces! It was so fun. We really made some of the best friends while in dental school and I hope that we are able to stay in contact and see each other every once in a while.
Idaho was so fun. We enjoyed being in the wide open spaces, or as Bob calls it... "God's Country".
To be continued....

We are still keeping our hopes up that maybe a year from now you'll be moving over to Okinawa so we can see some Cleveland faces here too! Glad you're having fun :)
