9 months

Our little Anderson Kade is 9 months old! How did this happen? He has been such a good baby and even though it's sad, we love to see him grow and change. He has a cute little personality. He has the CUTEST smile!
He is crawling a little bit, but still doesn't go too far. I love that he is mobile but isn't in to everything.... yet. He is eating some table foods and recently found new a love for black beans and cheese.
He loves to clap, wave, and we just discovered that he can dance. Well, that is he can move up and down when he hears music play. :) His hair is growing and getting thick, and I love it! He has about as much hair as Jack did when he was probably 18 months old.
He is starting to enjoy sitting and playing with Jack. Jack is a great help to me. He will play with Anderson and check up on him to make sure he's okay. Jack is very protective of Anderson as well.

He is a mama's boy. :)
I secretly like it. He LOVES to play with Justin and will often fall asleep in his arms, which he never does with me. But if he is tired and hungry, he will always try to get to me if he can see me.

He is usually pretty happy but has now decided his best way to communicate anything is by screaming. And it's a pretty loud scream. Not our favorite quality, but we'll take it along with all the other cute and sweet things that he does.
At Anderson's 9 month check up, Justin and I were hoping that he had some reason for all the screaming. Maybe he is teething or has an ear infection. No. There is no cure for the scream. He is perfectly healthy she tells me and that he is just a very social little guy. Great! :) She did tell me though that we need to up his calories and try to get a little meat on his little bones. His percentile for weight has been decreasing with each visit and she seemed a little concerned. Hopefully we will be able to add a little weight to this cutie pie. :)

weight: 16 lbs. 12 oz. - 5th percentile
height: 27.5 inches - 15th percentile

Once again, these picture were taken by Angie Penrose. :)
The last two pictures are a couple months old, but I thought they were cute!

Washington, how I love thee

My Mom and Dad are leaving on their mission next week and we had a little family get together in Washington. The plane tickets were too expensive so only Anderson and I went. It was the first time I have ever left Jack, but he was with Justin mostly so I wasn't worried about him. Justin did a great job of packing Jack's lunch, and getting him ready everyday to take to a friend's house while he went to school. They had fun together, even though we missed them in WA!!
We spent a few days in Seabrook, which is a new little beach town just north of Ocean Shores. It was a little bit chilly at times but never rained on us, which we were all hoping for. We stayed in one of the cottages, as they call them, played games, had a birthday party, played on the beach, stayed up late, and laughed... a lot. :) It was great to get together before my parents leave for NYC.

Me, just being myself - Silly!

Hey Will, I think you have something on your lip...

Check out her mad juggling skills!

We missed Justin, Jack, Travis, and Whitney!! Next time we do this, I hope EVERYONE will be able to be there.
Me and Angie :)

After we got back from Seabrook, I was able to catch the Berglind's in between trips. We had lunch together and got to meet their new little Lucy. She is a doll!! I'm always so happy to see them, and every time I do it makes me wish we lived closer. It's weird to think how far we've come since our first choir class we had together our freshman year of high school. Now we live so far away and both have 2 kids!! Crazy!

I LOVE Washington.
Maybe it's because my family lives there, but something about being able to go there just makes me happy!
