Baby Hurst

Hollie and Adam are getting ready for their little guy to get here. She is being induced on Dec. 9th so it's not too far away! :) We had a baby shower for her at our house last week. The food was yummy and the turn out was great! She is all organized now and ready for the baby to come. Now we just get to wait. Good luck Hollie!! We can't wait to see him!
Hollie, me, Brittany, Taylor

Me with the 3 preggo's. There is something like 15 girls in my ward that are pregnant! I am starting to feel like the minority.

Walkie Talkie

Anderson is walking!! These videos were taken a couple weeks ago, so he can stay up a lot longer now. He thinks he is pretty cool walking around. :) It's cute. He doesn't really talk, but he LOVES to scream!! Oh man, we aren't sure we are going to survive this. When he is happy and playing, he squeals and screams. When he is mad or wants something, he screams. And man, is it loud. Every time I am talking to someone on the phone and Anderson is screaming as usual, they all say, "What was that??" Oh, it's just Anderson. He's so darn cute but he is so darn loud!! I love the end of this video because it is our life in a nutshell. Jack being a spaz and Anderson screaming. They are still pretty cute though :)

I love when Jack sings to me. He kind of makes up some of the words, just like Justin. I hope he always likes to sing.

Soccer

Jack's soccer came to an end. He was really excited to be able to play, but it is funny to see the difference between the 3 yr. olds and the 5 yr. olds on their team. The 5 yr. olds are the ones that get the ball up and down the field and the 3 yr. olds follow behind and sometimes get distracted. :) Either way, it was fun and Jack had a great time.

Jumping Jacks for their warm up :)

Square Dance!

We had a ward hoedown with professional square dance callers. I'm not sure I knew people like that really existed. It was a lot of fun, even though we didn't know what we were doing.
The picture above is Jack and his friend Andersen. They stayed right on that black line holding hands forever, saying that they were playing a game. They had a lot of fun together.

Howdy!

Jack got right in the middle and started dancing. He was trying really hard to follow the steps.

We're natural cowboys :)

Fall Wrap Up

We have had a crazy September and October! I cannot believe we are already 5 days into November. Time is flying by but we have managed to have a lot of fun in the mean time. Every year that we have lived here, the squirrels have eaten my pumpkins. This year was no exception. Blasted squirrels.
2 out of the 4 that we bought lasted long enough to carve them. The one that Justin carved on the right, got the face eaten off the very next day. Sad!
The trees haven't been quite as great this year, but they were still some pretty ones. They are all starting to fall off now.

Jack had a fall party in his preschool class. One of the moms made these jack-o-lanterns out of oranges. She filled them with cut up strawberries. So cute!!! I can't imagine cutting all of those faces. It would make a really cute Halloween tradition, but a LOT of work!
Jack sat by his friend Joey.

We had a Trunk-or-Treat at the church. Eli and Anderson were nice and warm in their costumes.
I cut out this spider from a big piece of cardboard and spray painted it. One of the little girls had a concerned look on her face and kept asking if it was a real spider. I'm sure glad it's not...I hate spiders!!
Anderson and Emersyn were matching ducks/chicks/cuties.

A blurry picture of us and the Bjarnason's. Sydney was a princess but she was more interested in the candy then wearing her crown.

On Halloween we went to dinner with our neighbors at Heather's sister's house. This is their little boy Cooper. They have a super family friendly neighborhood and we let the boys go around to a few houses and get a little extra candy. They were so funny running from house to house.
Snoopy and Peter Pan

Anderson didn't think riding in the wagon with Sullivan was a very good idea. Love that face!

Even though Fall has slipped right past us, we are anxious and excited for the Holidays!!! Yay!

Am I missing anyone?

This picture makes me laugh. This is what Jack has to sleep with every night. Of course his blue and yellow bears and Wolfy still stand as the favorites, all the others are just as important to him when he is going to bed. And right now he is in love with this little pumpkin Halloween decoration and has even found a spot for it in his bed. He hardly has room for himself! Maybe we need to get him a bigger bed? :) It also makes me laugh that "Blue" and "Yellow" as he calls them, HAVE to be upside down. He lays on top of them. I'm not sure why he even has a pillow. The good thing though, is that when we travel, he is okay to just have Blue, Yellow, and Wolfy. Thank heavens!

NYC

Some of my very first friends that I ever made here in Cleveland and I have been wanting to go on a trip for a very long time. Now since three of them are pregnant, and it is our last year here, we decided it was now or never! With my mom and dad in NY, we thought it would be fun to go and stay with them. We saw so many fun things, walked until the preggo girls couldn't walk anymore, got very little sleep, and talked and laughed all weekend. It was great, especially since we left the kiddos at home!
The LDS temple, right in all the craziness of NYC.

Having fun in Central Park...
It's pretty hilarious when you try and get three pregnant girls to jump off the ground. Brittany and Hollie are due in a couple months, even though they don't look like it in these pictures.
Taylor and Hollie

I almost had to catch Brittany. Our faces crack me up in this picture!! We could not stop laughing.
It only took us 25 tries to get a good one. :)

Time Square

Views from the top of the Rockefeller center.

We even managed to get around on the subway alright and saw some pretty crazy people.

We took the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty.

The famous Plaza Hotel. The lobby is so beautiful! Maybe one day we will spend the $1200 and stay a night in their CHEAPEST room. But since we are still in dental school and years away from being settled and actually making any kind of money, I guess we will just walk around the lobby and dream.

5th Ave.
It's crazy to me that anyone can afford to buy anything on this street! A $2300 bag isn't quite in my budget. Very fun to look at though.

We also went to my mom and dad's branch and Hollie and I did a musical number for them. I'm glad Hollie said she would do it with me because my dad said if she didn't than I was on my own. Thanks Hollie!
It was really fun for me to see my mom and dad in their life in NY. I read all of their emails and their blog but it was great to see them in action and see the places that they talk about. I'm so glad we are going back there for Thanksgiving!
Thanks for letting us invade your cute little apartment!

Patterson's!!

What more can I say about Patterson's that I haven't already? I love it there! This is definitely on the top of my list of things I will miss in Ohio. The weather was so nice and the leaves were beautiful! It really was a prefect day to go. Which is what everyone else was thinking too....it was packed!
Cruising around :)
He thinks he needs our hands to walk, but we are pretty sure he could do it on his own if he really wanted to.

This year they planted a big sunflower field. It was so pretty.

Anderson thinking he's a big boy.

Anderson played in this sand box for so long. Until he started eating it by the handful. Then we decided it was time to get out.

I have a picture of Jack on this tractor from two years ago. You will have to look at it and see how much he has grown! So sad.

I feel like the leaves haven't been as great this year, but it was still so beautiful out there.
We will miss you Patterson's!!
