Tay Tay

This baby...so happy and extra cute. His hair always looks like the fluff on top of a baby chick. And he has the best posture I've ever seen! He's always sitting straight up with a perfectly straight back.

New Mexico Fall

Farmington, NM is not known for it's beauty. It's mostly brown and not a lot to see. But during the fall there were quite a few pretty spots full of beautiful yellow trees. It was our first fall back in the states and although it didn't quite compare to fall in Ohio, it was fun to see the trees change colors. In Okinawa it was all tropical trees and we had been looking forward to enjoying the fall back in America.

Of course we had to find a pumpkin patch! Another perk for being back in the states. We spent the day at Sutherland Farms and enjoyed the cool weather and the various activities they provided. The kids loved every minute of it. Jack and Anderson ran from one thing to the next with big smiles on their faces. One of the best things as a parent is feeling the excitement radiating from your kids faces. I remember this as a really good day for our family. Fun times shared and memories made.

Since I'm still so behind on my blog and trying to catch up, it's fun to see how much the kids have grown since these pictures. Non of these clothes even fit them any more!

Taylor was not a fan of the corn. :)

My three little pumpkins.

I do love this little family of mine. Being a parent is hard, hard work. But when you look through the pictures and are reminded of all the memories you have made and the things you have gone through together, it makes everything worth it and you love them even more.

Moab 2014

I don't remember exactly when, but in the Fall of 2014, we went to Moab for the weekend with the Heaton's and the Jensen's. It has been so long since we were all together and we were loving it! The kids acted like they've been best friends since they were 2.
We spent that Saturday hiking to Corona Arch. Justin and I were pretty worried that our kids would whine the entire time. Especially Anderson. He is generally a happy kid, but any time we go for a walk, he is whining the whole way. But we were pleasantly surprised because they walked and walked without one negative comment. They were having too much fun with all of the other kids. It made me so happy. We were able to be together, enjoying the sun, and the gorgeous views. It really was perfect. Even Taylor was happy as a clam!

Look at all of these cute kids!
I made them do a peace sign....a shout out to our Japanese roots! :)

After making it to the arch, we sat and watched some CRAZY people jump off of it. IT was making me so nervous. I just knew that our kids were going to witness someone falling to their death. Thankfully that didn't happen, but they made me so nervous every time they would jump!

 The whole crew. :)

After hiking we went back and spent some time at the pool. It was pure entertainment and non stop laughs! And you can see why....

It was the perfect weekend getaway!
